What can I expect when I hire Tahiti Rey & Jason Alan?

   You can expect your music to be memorable! We make it our honor to provide the soundtrack to the most special day of your life. Whether it’s learning and singing your favorite classics or an original song, we pour our heart and soul into every note. You can always expect an inspired, passionate performance.

What sort of Band options do I have?

    We most commonly play in a duo. We both play the guitar and sing, and Jason can play the piano as well, if requested. We can always add a percussionist, bass, keyboards, and cello, if requested. We can provide ceremony and/or cocktail hour music, all the way up to a full band for receptions. We also always tailor our song choices towards the energy of the crowd.

Who are some of your favorite artists?

Tahiti: I have such a love and respect for any artist that sings with their heart. Some of my favorites right now are Colbie Calliat, John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Adele, and Sara Barellies. The classics that stand the test of time for me are Ray Charles, Etta James, and Bob Dylan.

Jason: There are so many influences that have shaped my musical life. I have a deep appreciation for Beethoven, Debussy, Gershwin, and Copland on the instrumental side. As for my popular music influences, I love vocalists such as Steve Perry, Bono, and Jeff Buckley. My favorite songwriters are David Gray, James Morrison, and Ryan Tedder.
